CLOSED, Antwerp, Interior Design

In 2004, the collaboration with the Hamburg based fashion label Closed started with the realisation of the company’s first flagship store in downtown Hamburg. Since then, the fashion label commissioned the interior design of all Closed stores and showrooms around the world with the briefing to establish a distinct global corporate architecture for the brand. For the 140 sqm store in the centre of Antwerp, the commission also included the planning and execution of a new window façade as well as the interior design work. The original window front, glazed with multiple panes, was removed entirely and replaced with large scale, room-sized seamless glass panels, taking up the complete length of the shop front. The main interior features of all stores including the one in Antwerp are casual yet polished environments.
