CLOSED, Bread & Butter, Berlin, Exhibition Design

For the international fashion label Closed an exhibition design was realised in the space of the former editorial offices of Berlin’s famous city magazine „Tip Berlin“ in the course of Berlin’s fashion show Bread & Butter in July 2013. The 550 sqm presentation on the ground floor of an Art Nouveau building was developed to exude an abstract character. Diverse and bespoken clothes racks with elements of coloured glass and mirror were created to present the new collection and underline the modern aesthetic of the fashion label. Cabinet tables made of black and white metal with elements of marble and brass as well as the bespoke clothes racks were used to structure the huge space into individual rooms and increased the abstract and geometric effect. An outside lounge area underlined the artistic event character of the exhibition.

In 2004, the collaboration with the Hamburg based fashion label Closed started with the realisation of the company’s first flagship store in downtown Hamburg. Since then, the fashion label commissioned the interior design of Closed stores and showrooms around the world with the briefing to establish a distinct global corporate architecture for the brand.
