PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN completes the interior design for the Gallery Mehdi Chouakri in Berlin, Germany. Currently located in Charlottenburg Mehdi Chouakri is opening a new location at the industrial estate of Wilhelm Hallen in Reinickendorf.

The concept emphasis the juxtaposition of the existing historic building and the new architecture. Considering the intended functions, the new 4m tall walls appear impressive, but still allow the existing building to stand out. The layout supports a variety of inspiring viewpoints, allowing the visitor to explore the space and the exhibited art. Functions are gallery, cabinet featuring the Posenenske archives, private showroom, storage for art, and office.
